About the Department The Department of Quality Control of Education was established in accordance with paragraph 14 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 18, 2017 No. 515 “On the Organization of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and is directly part of the institute. enters. The main purpose of the department The main purpose of the Department of Educational Quality Control (QQM) is to study and analyze the compliance of the knowledge of UzMU students with the state educational standards, monitor the quality of personnel training, organize the internal certification of UzMU and the negative impact on the quality of education based on its results. is to identify the factors that cause it and to take measures to eliminate and prevent them.
The main tasks of the TSNQ department are as follows:
- Analysis of the provision and mutual compatibility of educational areas and specialties with state educational standards (DTS), qualification requirements, curricula and science programs, working curricula and working programs of science;
- To study the quality of the educational process at UzMU, the level of its provision with educational literature and teaching-methodical materials;
- Study the impartiality and transparency of student knowledge assessment processes and results;
- Conducting additional monitoring to determine student knowledge on a selective basis (the result of this monitoring is not reflected in the student’s mastery index), analyzing the results, organizing the processes of determining the factors that have influenced the quality of education;
- Analyzing lessons in each subject and providing information to the rector of UzMU;
- Monitor student attendance and professors’ attitude to classes;
- Preparing analytical data on the results of the assessment and giving reports on their results to the board of UzMU and the rector’s meeting;
- To get acquainted with the documents of final state certification commissions in order to study the level of knowledge of graduates;
organizing monitoring and control of the quality of education and personnel training on the basis of organizational-legal and methodical instructions; - Organizing the internal certification of UzMU and presenting the results of internal attestation, information on factors affecting the quality of education to the rector of UzMU and the State Inspection;
- Monitoring the state of indicators determining the quality of education, making suggestions to the rector of UzMU regarding identified problems and shortcomings;
- To analyze the effectiveness of using modern methods and techniques in the process of improving the qualifications of professors and teachers in order to improve the quality of education;
- Internal monitoring, preparation of analytical data in order to determine the state of professional qualifications of teaching staff, as well as the level of quality in post-university education, professional development and retraining in the structural structures of UzMU (faculty, department, department, center, academic lyceum) and making suggestions to the management of UzMU on solving problems;
- To analyze the suitability of the basic information of professors and teachers of UzMU to the subject(s) they teach, or to study whether they have undergone retraining in accordance with the procedure established by law, or have a scientific title, degree in the appropriate specialty, and to inform the rector of UzMU of the conclusions;
- To analyze the state of the material and technical base of the educational process, to make suggestions for its development and improvement;
- Organization of student practice at UzMU, taking into account educational directions and specialties, and control of its effectiveness;
- Participation in the processes related to determining the rating, assessment, attestation and study of the quality of education of UzMU;
- In order to improve the quality of social environment, personnel training and education at UzMU, constantly conduct social surveys among students, parents, professors and staff consumers;
- To study the social environment, personnel training and quality of education at UzMU, participate in the process of social surveys conducted among professors and teachers and personnel consumers, develop recommendations based on the results;
- Participation in the analysis of graduates’ admission to the next stage of education or employment;
- To constantly study the innovations related to the control of the quality of education in the republic and foreign countries and develop recommendations for their implementation in the educational process;
- Active participation in the development and implementation of measures aimed at raising the rating of UzMU to the international level together with the management of the higher education institution;
- UzMU is aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with the relevant structural structures, as well as conducting educational seminars and trainings;
- Forming a base of internal public experts at UzMU and regularly holding seminars within the framework of the tasks assigned to them;
- Integrated cooperation between the educational process and production, giving suggestions on the expansion of innovative ideas, development and technologies;
- To provide information on the results of studies and monitoring carried out by the Department of Education and Culture on improving the quality of education at the Council of UzMU, at roundtables and conferences;
- To submit relevant proposals to the management of UzMU based on the results of the study of the quality of education.
