Today, November 28, the opening of the 2nd France-Uzbekistan educational forum is taking place in Paris. About 500 leaders and representatives of higher education institutions of the two countries are taking part in it.
Last year, in October, “Uzbekistan-France 1st educational forum” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan. During the past time, representatives of the university have successfully established cooperation relations in various directions.
At the opening of the forum, presentations were made on the activities carried out in higher education and the results of cooperation.
Shukhrat Toshmatov, vice-rector for educational affairs of the National University of Uzbekistan, is also participating in this forum.
In the afternoon, bilateral negotiations between representatives of higher education institutions of the two countries began.
There, Shukhrat Toshmatov met with representatives of Sakle University, University of Rennes, and a scientific research institute specializing in people with disabilities.
At the National University of Uzbekistan, a number of works are being carried out to create favorable conditions for people with disabilities in each region, and to update the existing ones. In the development strategy of the university for 2022-2026, further improvement of this direction is planned.
At the second France-Uzbekistan educational forum, vice-rector Shuhrat Tashmatov reached agreements on establishing cooperation with France INSHEA.
A conversation on cooperation between Saclay University and the head of the international department of Paris Saclay University Sebastien Cartier was held (QS 69 / THE 117 / ARWU 16) and it was agreed to cooperate in the fields of physics, law, and economics.
