On the occasion of the 630th anniversary of the birth of the great scientist and statesman Mirzo Ulugbek, the Department of history of Uzbekistan held an international scientific and practical conference on” Mirzo Ulugbek – great thinker scientist and statesman“.
The international conference was opened with an introduction by the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madzhidov and touched on the fundamental reforms in the educational system, among all areas, in order to develop our country in every possible way and create a new Uzbekistan in recent years.
Speaking at the conference, the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and innovation Shohrukh Daliyev noted in his speech that it is important to study and promote the spiritual heritage left by our great allies, and discussed the activities of Mirzo Ulugbek as a statesman and a qomusi scientist.
More than 10 foreign countries, namely Japan, China, Russia, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, as well as professors and teachers of higher education institutions of the Republic, scientific staff of research institutes, museums, archives and other institutions, young scientists, doctoral students and independent researchers took part in the conference.
During the Timurid Renaissance, Central Asian science and culture occupy a special place in the history of world civilization and culture. Of urgent importance is the study of the activities of scientists of this period, who have made a significant contribution to the development of World Science and played an important role in the history of statehood.
Mirzo Ulugbek is an encyclopedic scholar who left to his descendants works on the foundations of astronomy, mathematics, geography, history, medicine, literature, public administration.
The study of the issues of centralized statehood, legislation and management in it, Samarkand Academy and Ulugbek Observatory in the development of science, Ulugbek Scientific School, Ulugbek Madarasa activity, its educational system, internal and foreign policy of the country during the reign of Mirzo Ulugbek has an important importance in the development of modern science today.
In this regard, the conference received 200 lectures on the following areas:
- The Timurid Renaissance and its place in the development of World Culture and science.
- Mirzo Ulugbek the great thinker alloma and statesman.
- Mirzo Ulugbek Scientific School and the progress of modern science.
- Information Technology in the study of historical – cultural heritage.
- current issues of the social and humanitarian Sciences.
Lectures on the topic are heard and discussed during the conference. The conference continued after a plenary session divided into branches.
